MMG Site Support & Project Management

Since late 2021 Entech Geology’s James Heggie has been assisting MMG with a range of geology based managerial and technical assistance.   An initial four months onsite as geology manager saw James involved with continuous improvements projects in grade control best practice, structural geology model updates, and mentoring along with monthly production and reporting duties at the world renown Dugald River Zinc underground mine.  Several follow-up site visits were completed during 2022 prior to James being incorporated into MMG’s annual Mineral Resource and Reserve process and tackling geological interpretations for the remainder of 2022. 

With over 11 years of experience in fly-in fly-out (FIFO) metalliferous operations and several years of resource consulting experience James was well equipped to offer geological guidance spanning mining and grade control through to resources and project management.
